Mvuu Camp is situated on the banks of the Shire River downstream from Mvuu Lodge. With both spacious stone and canvas chalets and specially designed family units, the camp is ideal for family visits or for those wishing to have an excellent, comfortable bush experience in a slightly less exclusive atmosphere.

Facilities include five en-suite chalets and five family units of two rooms each. There is a lounge and restaurant, swimming pool, camping and self catering facilities. The thatched lounge and restaurant have magnificent views of the river and many meals are taken under the stars in a specially designed boma.

Game viewing is excellent, with elephant, hippo, crocodile and a profusion of birdlife to be seen. During the dry months, large elephant herds can be seen from the bar. Activities include game drives, boat trips and walks, making this a great destination for a family safari holiday in Malawi.
