Namibia - Ongava Family Of Lodges

Ongava Family of Lodges is located on the southern border of the Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve commanding magnificent vistas of the African plains beyond. Etosha, and its seemingly never ending salt flats, are home to a plethora of wildlife whilst bird-life abounds. During the dry season the wildiife migrate to the permanent water holes and sighting are both high in number and diversity.

The luxury safari accommodation at Ongava is in well dispersed rock and thatch en-suite chalets each with an outside deck with view over the reserve. The lodge offers an inviting pool to cool off in the heat of the day. The dining and lounge area has a wonderful view of the waterhole below the camp and lends itself to relaxed, stylish dining under an African sky or under thatch. Day and night wildlife-viewing drives, visiting hides that overlook waterholes and walks with experienced guides can all be enjoyed exclusively on this reserve. Game drives and daytrips into the easily accessible Etosha National Park are rewarding, with sightings of lion, elephant, gemsbok, springbok, hartebeest and black rhino.

Ongava has two sister camps, Little Ongava, which offers exclusive and indulgent living and with only three thatched rooms can be booked for sole use for a small party or family and Ongava Tented Camp for those guests wishing to be a little closer to nature.
